North Korea said the drone that crashed in Pyongyang took off from Baengnyeong Island in the West Sea, claiming that the South Korean military's provocations were clearly proven.

However, the South Korean military said it was only a one-sided claim and that it was not worth responding to.

Reporter Lee Jong-won, please tell us what the North Korean media reported first.

Yes, the Korean Central News Agency reported today the final results of its investigation into the drone incident announced by a spokesman from the Ministry of National Defense.

A Defense Ministry spokesman said in the announcement of the results that the drone took off from Baengnyeong Island in the South.

The same article was posted in the Rodong Sinmun, which residents read, and the flight history divided by minutes and seconds along with related graphics was tabulated.

The drone that crashed in Pyongyang took off from Baengnyeong Island at 11:25:30 p.m. on October 8, claiming that it sprayed anti-North Korean leaflets over the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of National Defense building early the next morning.

The flight control program contained 238 other flight plans and histories, emphasizing that they were all flight data within the Korean territory except on the day of the crash.

Based on such data, North Korea has repeatedly claimed that the South Korean military's drone provocation has been proven.

At the same time, he threatened that if it recurred, the origin of the provocation would disappear forever due to our harsh offensive actions.

Earlier on the 11th, North Korea claimed that a South Korean drone penetrated Pyongyang and distributed leaflets, and then released a photo that found the wreckage of the crashed drone on the 19th.

What is the response of our military to North Korea's claim today?

[Reporter]
The South Korean military maintained its existing position on North Korea's unilateral claims, saying they could not confirm them and were not worth responding to.

In the past decade, North Korea has threatened our safety by infiltrating multiple drones into our airspace more than a dozen times, criticizing the Red Cross's insistence, let alone reflecting on it.

Experts also analyzed that the analysis results released by North Korea today require verification, but there is insufficient evidence to conclude that it is a drone sent by the South Korean military.

In particular, in the case of our military's reconnaissance drones, the weight can be mounted at hundreds of grams, which can be as small as a small camera, and it is not easy to fly with a heavier 'shear barrel'.

Today, however, North Korea expressed its intention to continue its continued threats and provocations against the South using the results of the analysis.

Kim Yo-jung, the deputy director of the Workers' Party, also made a statement saying that he was very curious about how the South Korean military would react if the same situation unfolded over Seoul.

In response, the military warned that if North Korean drones penetrate, they will respond correspondingly and take appropriate measures to protect the safety and property of our people.
