The production report for the
movie '1 win' was held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall at 11 a.m. today (28th). Director Shin Yeon-sik, who directed the film, as well as actors Song Kang-ho, Park Jung-min and Jang Yoon-joo attended the production briefing session to talk about the work.

{1 Win' is a story about a professional women's volleyball team that has no chance of winning, including a coach who has never won, a team owner who does not intend to win, and even players who do not know how to win. It is Korea's first volleyball film where Song Kang-ho, a representative actor, and Park Jung-min, a popular actor, met.

Director Shin Yeon-sik, who said he wanted to make a movie that the whole family could enjoy and watch happily, said, "It seems that there is a sublime power unique to sports movies. "I think it's a genre that can give a lot of consensus that we have to prove it with blood, sweat, tears, and effort," he said, explaining how he directed his first sports movie in his life.

The movie depicted only one victory, not 'winning'. Why did director Shin Yeon-sik make "One Win" the subject of the movie? He said, "Many people are likely to dream of winning, dreaming of becoming an absolute powerhouse, and only dreaming of first place, but real life doesn't seem to be like that. I think the audience will sympathize with it because there will be one win that everyone doesn't know at the scene of life," he said, explaining that he put weight on the meaning of one win each individual has rather than winning.

This work also shows a fresh combination of actors that have not been seen before, and the main characters of the work also revealed why they chose "one win."

First, Song Kang-ho said, "As an actor, I want to show a more diverse, experimental, and challenging appearance to the audience. I think constant experiments are an important point as an actor," he said.

He then said, "I wanted to try a work with different characters and tendencies that I've been doing since the end of 'Parasite'. I was hoping that it would be nice if it could be simple, small, and simple, but I was attracted to "one win" and explained, "I chose it because it was a work that could give the audience the courage to win one win."

Park Jung-min and Jang Yoon-ju cited Song Kang-ho as the reason for choosing "one win."

Park Jung-min, who has longed for Song Kang-ho since his school days, said, "He is like a dream to me, but after hearing that Song Kang-ho is doing it, I participated in the work without looking back. Jang Yoon-joo also expressed infinite trust and respect for Song Kang-ho, adding, "I really wanted to be with Song Kang-ho when I heard that he was doing it at a time when I was worried about acting."

At the end of the production briefing session, they asked prospective audiences for their interest and affection for the work.

Song Kang-ho said, "I think the word 'one win' is symbolic. I think one win can soon be 100 or 1000 wins. It is based on volleyball, but there will be one win in our lives. I think it's a movie full of hope because I can win at least once, and that one time can be 100 times," he said, emphasizing the meaning of the movie.

Park Jung-min expressed his passion for the audience, saying, "Our job usually receives a lot of support, but this work was made with the heart of a work that can cheer the audience." Jang Yoon-joo said, "I hope to end the year happily watching '1 win'. As the director intended, it is a family movie where all the family can come and laugh and watch," he said, adding that he did not forget the love call to the prospective audience.

The movie "One Win" is set to be released in theaters in December.
