The press distribution preview and press conference of the
movie 'Cheongseol' were held at Megabox COEX at 2 p.m. today (28th). The press conference, which took place shortly after the premiere, was attended by director Cho Sun-ho, who directed the film, as well as actors Hong Kyung, Noh Yoon-seo and Kim Min-joo to talk about the work.

'Cheongseol' is a remake of the original movie of the same name that sparked a Taiwanese romance genre craze in Korea. The movie depicts the refreshing and exciting moments of "Yong-jun" (Hong-kyung) who goes straight toward love, "Summer" (No Yoon-seo) who gets to know his true feelings, and younger brother "Autumn" (Kim Min-joo) who supports the two.

First of all, director Chosunho said about the remake of the original work, "I think the work of remaking is very difficult. Even if I do the same, it seems difficult to go differently, so I thought a lot at first. However, I thought I should bring the pure sensibility of the original Taiwanese work as much as possible, and at the same time change it to suit Korean sentiment," he said.

"I wanted to melt the story I wanted to tell in this movie. I wanted to contain emotions and concerns about each character, and concerns and thoughts from the relationship between the characters," he said, introducing the difference from the original.

Hong-kyung also said, "Rather than expressing the characters in the original work the same way, I tried to express the purity of the original work. The relationship between the characters is much more meticulous, complex and thick than the original," he said, raising expectations for the Korean version of "Cheongseol."

Noh Yoon-seo also said, "Because it is set in Korea, I think there will be a charm that the audience sees familiarity. In addition, there are parts where the details are slightly different, so I think it will be fun to look for them while looking for them," he said, introducing a new "Cheongseol." Kim Min-ju said, "We tried to express the warmth of the original work with our own novelty. Rather than trying to look like him, I focused on understanding the character," he added. There seems to be a lot of afterimages left even after it's over. It was a process of being able to look closely into someone's mind and know what it is to count," he said.

Noh Yoon-seo said, "Expectations account for 70% of sign language. I practiced for about two to three months before filming the movie, and I tried to get natural movements while eating with sign language teachers and seeing how they communicate in sign language. "Thanks to you, we had a lot of fun filming and I think we came out pretty, too," he said.

Kim Min-ju said, "I practice with the mindset of learning a new culture. In addition to lines, conversations that can be discussed were also changed to sign language, and while practicing in daily life, I studied and practiced. It was a meaningful time to feel and learn a lot about the process of looking into each other's eyes while filming," he said.

Director Cho said, "The process of actors learning and expressing sign language must have been difficult, but thank you for doing well. Since there was no sound, I focused on the actors' expressions and eyes. I didn't worry much because the sincerity was well revealed there," he said, expressing his gratitude to the actors. "I worked hard on the sound and music while thinking about how to fill the empty space because I didn't have a voice in the second half of the work," he added, explaining the point of "Cheong-Seol."

'Blue Snow' is scheduled to be released in theaters on November 6.
