A special police team filed an arrest warrant for the leadership they arrested earlier?
[Reporter]
The police special investigation team said it has applied for arrest warrants for Police Commissioner Jo Ji-ho and Seoul Commissioner Kim Bong-sik, who were arrested urgently on charges of rebellion.
In announcing the warrant application, the special team explained that they met with President Yoon Suk Yeol and former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun hours before the emergency martial law was issued, unlike Cho and Kim of the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
It was confirmed that Cho and Kim, the head of the Seoul Metropolitan Government, visited the safety house and met with President Yoon Suk Yeol three hours before the emergency martial law was declared.
At the meeting, it was reported that President Yoon was handed an instruction document containing the targets to be seized after the declaration of martial law.
In addition, after the martial law was declared, President Yoon reportedly called Cho directly and ordered him to arrest key lawmakers.
However, at the National Assembly earlier, Commissioner Cho stated that he first learned of the declaration of emergency martial law through the media and stayed at the National Police Agency for about four hours after being contacted by the presidential office before martial law.
The police made a statement that was different from their previous claims.
However, it is known that Commissioner Cho did not follow all the instructions because they were considered unfair.
The police are expected to speed up the investigation, including the details of the instructions and whether they are implemented after securing their whereabouts.

[Reporter]
The police emergency martial law special investigation team launched a search and seizure of security phones and related servers used by former Minister Kim Yong-hyun.
The plan is to secure a security phone installed with an anti-tapping program, which is a key evidence of martial law, and a server containing communication details.
The Ministry of Defense and the Capital Defense Command have also been conducting raids since this afternoon,
Police said this search and seizure was the first activity since the formation of the Joint Investigation Headquarters, which was formed with the Airborne Division and the Ministry of National Defense.
From 3 p.m., we are discussing in detail the cooperative investigation method related to the emergency martial law situation through a working meeting.
The special police team is also securing related data from the Joint Chiefs of Staff, such as devices used by the martial law command, by voluntary submission.
