Gyeonggi Province held a launching ceremony for the 333 Project" aimed at increasing agricultural and fisheries income by 30% today (23rd).The
provincial government said it will invest 9 billion won to 310 farmers and fishermen in 21 cities and counties by the end of 2026 to support management analysis and customized consulting.
Of the 310 selected farmers and fishermen, 116 were in their 20s and 30s, and 73 were female farmers and fishermen.
At this launching ceremony, innovative examples such as the Yangpyeong Gumbeng Pro Farm and Pocheon Sturgeon Farm were introduced, and processed foods were also exhibited.
Baek Seung-kwon, a young farmer in his 30s who runs a Gumbeng Pro Farm, said, "We will increase added value and develop advanced programs such as healing agriculture through the sixth industrialization."
"It will be a turning point in opening up the future of agriculture and fishing in Gyeonggi Province," said Kim Sung-joong, the first vice governor of Gyeonggi Province.
