How's the situation on the ground?

[Reporter]
Yes, the scene is full of the smell of oil.

It's been two and a half hours since the fire started,

A little while ago, the flame attached to the fallen oil tanker burned to the point where it hit the road across the street, but after the evolutionary work, it has calmed down for a little while.

The fire started at around 9:50 last night.

It is the point from the Seopyeongtaek Junction to the Seopyeongtaek Interchange in Mokpo, the downstream line of the Seohaean Expressway,
The fire started when a tanker carrying 30,000 liters of
kerosene hit the guardrail and fell.

The fire killed a man in his 60s who drove a oil tanker.

All lanes were once blocked, causing severe traffic congestion as the wind moved flames and smoke to the opposite up line.
From around midnight
, the site has been cleared to some extent, and one two-way lane has been closed.

Within 30 minutes of the fire, the fire authorities issued the second stage of response to mobilize all personnel and equipment from nearby fire stations.

Since then, the fire has been contained to some extent and has gone through the first stage of response, and now the response stage has been lifted.

So far, this is YTN Kim Tae-won at the site of the West Coast Expressway oil tanker fire.
