Following North Korea's decision to send large-scale troops to the war in Ukraine to support Russia, it has been found that it has also begun to move troops.

The National Intelligence Service said North Korea began moving special forces troops to dispatch troops to Russia on the 8th.

Until the 13th, more than 1,500 people were transferred to Vladivostok, Russia, and a second transport operation will be carried out soon.

The total number of troops is expected to reach 10,000.

The NIS explained that the North Korean military received Russian military uniforms and Russian-made weapons, and also issued counterfeit identification cards of Siberian natives with similar appearances to North Koreans.

He added that North Korean soldiers sent to Russia have been dispersed in the Far East and are currently stationed in Russian military units, and are expected to be sent to the front line as soon as they complete adaptation training.

This is the first large-scale dispatch of North Korean ground forces.
