Politicians have unanimously condemned North Korea for sending special forces troops to help Russia.

Both the ruling and opposition parties agreed that North Korea's actions threaten the international community, but there was also a difference in temperature over the government's stance.

I'm connecting you with a reporter from the National Assembly. Reporter Lim Sungjae!

Please give me a detailed reaction from the ruling and opposition parties to North Korea's recent moves.

When the National Intelligence Service officially confirmed yesterday that more than 1,500 North Korean special forces were dispatched to Russia, the People's Power strongly condemned the deployment as a clear threat to the international community, including South Korea.

Representative Han Dong-hoon pointed out on social media that the dispatch confirmed that North Korea and Russia are a certain "military alliance."

In particular, he was concerned that Russia may provide key source technologies such as intercontinental ballistic missiles and ICBM re-entry technologies as a benefit in return for North Korea's participation in the war.

Within the party, the National Assembly's National Defense Committee and related standing committees, such as the Intelligence Committee, are closely watching North Korea's trends.

Members of the relevant standing committee said in a phone call with YTN that they are currently checking a series of threats, including "sending North Korea" through inquiries from the parliamentary audit agency, and that they will share opinions on the formation of a special committee at the party level.

In addition, as the government has been closely tracking North Korea's dispatch of troops to Russia from the beginning, it seems that the party actively supports related responses and measures.

The Democratic Party of Korea also held a meeting of the National Security Situation Inspection Committee last night, consisting of lawmakers from related standing committees such as the National Defense Committee and the Intelligence Committee, upon hearing the news of the dispatch of North Korea.

After the meeting, he strongly condemned North Korea's dispatch of troops as a dangerous act of participating in the war, threatening world peace.

In particular, he said he would propose a resolution that calls for an end to North Korea's dispatch and Russia's call for an end to the war.

Discussions on the proposal of a resolution are expected to take place at the Supreme Council as early as next Monday.

Within the opposition party, while calling for the government to carefully manage the crisis against a series of security threats, there are also critical voices against North Korea and diplomacy.

A member of the National Defense Commission said in a phone call with YTN, "It is true that the Yoon Suk Yeol government has been using hostile policies against China and Russia as it calls for value-oriented diplomacy," and argued that North Korea and Russia have strengthened their close ties due to suspicions of shell bypass support.

So far, I'm YTN Lim Sungjae in the National Assembly.
