A win-win consultative group to solve the problem of excessive fees for delivery platforms held its sixth meeting at Shinhan Bank headquarters in Seoul today and delivered the requirements of the store company to the platform.

The requirements were to come up with measures to ease the burden on the store, such as fees, and to indicate the store's burden, such as fees and delivery fees on the consumer's receipt, to stop the demand for Choi Hye treatment, and to share the location information of the delivery driver.

Participants also discussed ways for platform companies to voluntarily participate in win-win cooperation, such as laying the foundation for continuous communication and evaluating shared growth.

The government said it will hold its seventh meeting on the 14th for final coordination and conclude the discussion with speed after further consultation.

Earlier, Baedal Minjok, the No. 1 operator in the delivery platform market, reportedly paid a differential fee for gradually lowering fees according to delivery sales, and other delivery apps are also considering a win-win plan.

If the disagreement is not narrowed, the public interest committee will present an arbitration proposal, and if the delivery app does not accept it, it will be announced as a recommendation.

The Fair Trade Commission said it is taking a stern look at the market situation, including the conflict of fees between delivery platforms and stores, and that it will actively support the win-win plan to be reached within this month.
