With high vegetable prices continuing, consumers' concerns are growing as the kimchi-making season approaches.The price of kimchi seasoning ingredients such as

red pepper powder and ginger is falling, but the price of cabbage and radish, which are the main ingredients, is still high.

Still a high cabbage price.

I'm looking for other ingredients to avoid expensive cabbage kimchi, but the price of radish and young radish is also not easy.The same applies to

radishes. As the crop was not good like cabbage, the average last year was about 2,400 won, but it increased by about 40 percent of 3,200 won.

Compared to last year's average price, most of the prices of cabbage, radish, and young radishes have been trading more than 30%.

On the other hand, ginger, thick salt, green onions, and salted shrimp, which are other kimchi ingredients, are on the decline.

Although the price of seasoning ingredients is relatively falling, consumers' worries about making kimchi are growing as the main ingredients are still more expensive than usual.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs predicts prices will stabilize as supply increases from the end of October.

However, it is difficult to be sure of price stability because the forecast of supply can change at any time depending on weather conditions such as heavy rain.

The government will announce measures to stabilize the supply and demand of kimchi ingredients within this month, which includes expanding the supply of kimchi ingredients and supporting discounts.
