The kimchi-making season is coming up.

The percentage of people making kimchi themselves this year was 68.1%, up from last year.

The rate of buying and eating kimchi was 27%, down from last year.

About half of the respondents answered that the reason for making kimchi themselves is because they consider their family's taste.

About 30% of the respondents said they had higher trust in raw materials than kimchi sold on the market.

When I asked if I would buy Chinese cabbage, 94% said they wouldn't buy it.

In addition, about half of the consumers said they would make kimchi on a similar scale to last year.

However, nearly 4 out of 10 respondents said they would reduce the size compared to last year.

The most common reason for reducing the size of kimchi was the cost burden.

The answer was that I ate less kimchi and that it was convenient to buy it.

It's usually kimchi-making season from early November.

Due to the burden of cabbage prices, more and more consumers have delayed the timing of making kimchi.

11.5% of respondents said they would make kimchi after mid-December.

The government predicted that cabbage prices will stabilize from the end of October, but weather conditions are a variable.
