Yes, I will explain it while looking at the highway CCTV screen at the time of the accident secured by YTN.You can see a light vehicle going backwards on a one-way lane used by cars exiting the

highway.

While the cars are running fast, the light car suddenly turns right and cuts into the highway.

Eventually, the light car collided with a 1-ton truck, and other cars collided in a series, causing the road to panic.

It was around 5:20 a.m. today that seven cars had a series of accidents at Bupyeong Interchange on the Gyeongin Expressway toward Seoul.

Four people were found to have suffered minor injuries, and one seriously injured driver of a 1-ton truck was taken to a hospital, but he died.

As an accident occurred ahead of the way to work, there was a traffic jam around Bupyeong Interchange for a while.

It has been confirmed that the driver who caused the accident while driving a light car was a Chinese woman in her 40s.

According to the police investigation, it was found that he was not drunk or unlicensed.

Mr. A, who was on his way to work at the construction site, reportedly stated that he had misheard the vehicle navigation guidance and was driving backwards.

The police are charging A with manslaughter under the Special Act on the Handling of Traffic Accidents and are continuing their investigation.
