The Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency said it handed over 205 suspects accused of violating election laws to the prosecution in the April 10 general election.
The Gyeonggi Southern Office said at a regular press conference today (7th) that it has received a total of 356 complaints and accusations that they violated election laws during the April 10 general elections, and conducted an investigation into 646 people.
He also said he sent 205 people after about six months of investigation, and decided not to send 441 people because he judged that the charges were not admitted.
An official from the Gyeonggi Southern Office explained that there is an elected person among those sent, but details cannot be revealed because the prosecution's investigation remains.
