The results of the appeal of the former attorney who arranged a seat with the incumbent prosecutor who received alcohol from former Star Mobility Chairman Kim Bong-hyun, who was pointed out as the main culprit of the "Lime incident," will be released today (8th).

At around 10:10 a.m. today, the Supreme Court will proceed with the sentencing date of prosecutor Na, a lawyer from the prosecution, and former chairman Kim, who were handed over to trial on charges of violating the anti-graft law.

Prosecutor Na was put on trial in July 2019 on charges of receiving more than 1 million won from former chairman Kim at an entertainment establishment in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul.

Former chairman Kim and lawyer Lee are accused of conspiring to provide drinking parties to three prosecutors, including prosecutor Na.

Earlier, the first and second trials acquitted all of them, saying that the amount of entertainment did not exceed 1 million won per person, which is the criterion for violating the anti-graft law.

The prosecution judged that three defendants, except for two prosecutors who left their seats, spent about 1.14 million won per person on alcohol, but the court accepted the defendant's claim that there were seven participants and considered the entertainment fee at 930,000 won per person.
