Deepfake victims increased by 10 to 814...36 faculty members

The number of students affected by deepfake sexual exploitation increased by 10 in a week.

According to the Ministry of Education's report on the damage of false videos from deepfake in schools, 814 students were affected from January to the 11th of this year.

The number of victims increased by 10 from the previous survey on the 4th, and the cumulative number of victims increased to 850 by adding 36 existing teachers and employees.

The Ministry of Education is investigating the current status of the damage to 17 provincial offices of education after the controversy over the distribution of deepfake sexual exploitation through Telegram group chat rooms.

So far, there have been a total of 516 reports of deepfake damage, 432 requests for investigations, and 230 cases linked to video deletion support.
