This evening's memorial contest for the 2nd anniversary of the Itaewon disaster.

Ahead of the second anniversary of the Itaewon disaster, a civic memorial contest will be held this evening.


10.29 The Itaewon Victims' Council and the Citizens' Countermeasures Committee announced that they will hold a citizens' memorial contest for the second anniversary of the 10.29 Itaewon disaster at 6:34 p.m. on the day of the first report.

The memorial meeting will be attended by not only the bereaved family council, but also the 4.16 Family Council, the chairman of the 10.29 Itaewon Special Investigation Committee, and floor leaders and standing representatives of seven ruling and opposition parties.

Prior to this, at 2 p.m., a four-way prayer meeting was held in front of Exit 1 of Itaewon Station to honor 159 victims.
