Regarding the National Intelligence Service's announcement that North Korea will send a large number of troops to Russia to join the war in Ukraine, NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutter said he could not confirm it yet.
Secretary-General Rutter told a news conference that NATO's official position is that it cannot be confirmed at this time, adding that of course, this position could change.
European Union foreign affairs and security spokesman Peter Stano said the European Union is ready to take measures such as considering additional sanctions against North Korea if Pyongyang's dispatch is confirmed.
He also pointed out that if confirmed to be true, it represents a significant strengthening of military relations between North Korea and Russia, revealing that Russia is the one intensifying the war.
