The Israeli military has confirmed a retaliatory airstrike against Iran.
According to AFP, the Israeli military announced in the early morning hours of the 26th local time that it was carrying out a "precision strike" on military facilities in Iran.
"In response to months of continuous attacks by the Iranian regime against Israel, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are currently conducting precision strikes on military facilities in Iran," the Israeli military said in a statement.
