On the 11th local time, Forbes announced its ranking of 100 influential women this year, which evaluated indicators such as wealth, media activities, and influence, and included President Lee and CEO Choi.

Forbes counted President Lee Boo-jin's wealth at $2.4 billion and KRW 3.436 trillion in Korean money, introducing him as "the president and CEO of Hotel Shilla in Seoul, and the largest duty-free shop operator in Korea after Lotte."

"I am the eldest daughter of former Samsung Group Chairman Lee Kun-hee, and I inherited my father's empire with Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong and Samsung C&T President Lee Seo-hyun," he explained.

As for CEO Soo Yeon Choi, he said, "I became the CEO of Naver, Korea's largest Internet company, in 2022," adding, "I am the first female CEO of Naver and the youngest CEO except for the founder."

In the same tally last year, Lee ranked 82nd and Choi ranked 96th, respectively.

In the ranking released by Forbes this year, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has also been ranked as the world's most powerful woman for three years.
