Han River Book Reaches 1 Million Books in 6 Days After Winning Nobel Prize

The book of novelist Han Kang, who won Korea's first Nobel Prize for Literature, sold more than 1 million copies in six days after winning the prize.

As of 9 a.m. today, Han Kang's cumulative book sales at Yes24, Kyobo Bookstore, and Aladdin, the top three market share companies, exceeded 1 million copies based on paper books.

It is estimated that at least 70,000 e-books have been sold.

In terms of paper books, it was counted that the number of sales was highest in the order of "The Boy Is Coming," "The Vegetarian" and "I Don't Say Goodbye."
