[Busan] 'Pong Piedu Center Busan Branch' Confirms Exemption from Investment Deliberation Consultation

The construction project of the Pompidou Center Busan Branch in France, promoted by the Busan Metropolitan Government, has passed the exemption process for local financial investment review consultations by the Ministry of Public Administration and Security.The city of

said that the exemption from the investment review consultation allowed the administrative process to be advanced for about a year and a half.

Previously, the Busan Metropolitan Government signed a business agreement with the Pompidou Center in September with the consent of the Busan City Council in July to build a branch office, and is pursuing a main contract next year.

An official from Busan City explained that it plans to start construction in the second half of 2027 and open the Busan branch of the "Pong Pido Center" in 2031, after administrative procedures and opinions are collected.
