Gangwon Province promotes investment immigration system in Mangsang and Pyeongchang Yongpyeong on the east coast

Gangwon Province announced that it will push for the designation of a foreign investment immigration system for the Mangsang district of the free economic zone in Donghae City and the Yongpyeong Tourist Complex in Pyeongchang-gun.

The investment immigration system is a system that grants resident status to foreigners who have invested more than 1 billion won in tourism and recreational facilities in areas designated and announced by the Minister of Justice, and permanent residence status if the investment is maintained for five years.

Gangwon-do Province believes that if the investment immigration system is applied to the region, foreign investment wishing to acquire permanent residency will increase.
