Singer Gummy appeared on the YTN cultural program Culture Inside to share her honest thoughts about music.

Gummy, who majored in classical piano, aimed to study abroad, but she can no longer continue playing the piano due to the financial crisis. I wandered because I suddenly lost my dream, but after taking the stage of the high school festival, I hit a turning point in my life. I was asked to sing a song by an agency official who saw the festival stage. Thus, he began his trainee life in the first year of high school and walked the path of music in earnest.

Although the response was good from the first album, the crisis of "Sexual Nodule" came without even having time to feel the joy. However, the crisis of vocal cord nodules rather made her stronger. The second and third albums were hit one after another, imprinting the name "Gummy" on the public, and the fourth album attempts a new challenge beyond the existing style.

Gummy has had so many hits that she has been called the "Queen of OST." When she listens to OSTs such as "You are my everything" and "Pain," she puts deep emotions in the song to the point that drama videos come to mind. Gummy said she follows her own standards by carefully examining synopsis, rather than considering star actors or famous directors when choosing OSTs.

Gummy, who said she is still young and does not go overseas and is mainly doing domestic schedules, expressed her strong will to perform, saying, "I think it's my duty to fans who like my music."
