Gwangju Metropolitan Railway Line 2, controlled by construction, normalized after 5 years.

The first phase of construction of Gwangju Metropolitan City's Urban Railroad Line 2, which was controlled by subway construction, has been opened for the first time in five years.

Gwangju Metropolitan City opened the first phase of construction of Urban Railroad Line 2 at Sansuo Street in Dong-gu, Gwangju, today (23rd) and held a citizen's report.

The section, which was reduced to four round-trip lanes in 2019, has been expanded to eight lanes after demolishing the ground structure.

Gwangju Metropolitan City plans to restore all 17km sections under construction by June next year.
