Black and White Cooks: The War of the Culinary Class returns for a second season.
Netflix announced today (15th) that it has confirmed the production of season 2 of "Black and White Cook." Season 2 will be produced with the aim of being released in the second half of next year.
Since its release on the 17th of last month, Netflix became the first entertainment show to be introduced in Korea to rank No. 1 in the non-English category for Netflix's Global Top 10 TV for three consecutive weeks.
The Black and White Chef' captivated the world with an unconventional mission never seen in a cooking survival, a dynamic survival as if watching a sports game and martial arts.
The fierce competition of black and white chefs who are serious about cooking, the overwhelming scale, and the unpredictable result of the reversal, exploded the sense of excitement and dopamine. Above all, Jongwon Baek, Korea's best restaurant owner and national cooking mentor, and Ahn Sung-jae, the chef of Korea's only Michelin three-star "Mosu Seoul," received hot love for their fierce journey to find the best taste.
In season 2, Kim Hak-min and Kim Eun-ji, PDs of Studio Slam, who led the season 1, and Mo Mo In-seol plan to join forces once more to showcase an upgraded cooking class war.
Producer Kim Hak-min and Kim Eun-ji said, "We are grateful to be able to go to season 2 thanks to the viewers. I will try to repay the expectations and love," he said, expressing his gratitude and ambition for season 2.
