Typhoon "Kuraton" heading north...Ministry of Public Administration and Security's Meeting to Check the Response Situation

In preparation for typhoon "Kuraton" northward, the government has inspected measures, including ordering a preliminary inspection of vulnerable areas.

Lee Han-kyung, head of the Disaster and Safety Management Division of the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, held a meeting with related agencies today (30th) and asked them to thoroughly check risk factors before typhoons affect Korea in earnest.

In addition, it was ordered to quickly control dangerous areas in case of emergency and actively promote residents' evacuation and behavioral tips.
