Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, who took office on the 1st, is expected to express his willingness to cooperate with South Korea through his first speech of conviction at the extraordinary National Assembly tomorrow.

In Japan, the newly inaugurated prime minister will make his first speech to the National Assembly, expressing his basic perception of the challenges at hand and presenting the direction of the state administration.

Kyodo News said the original plan of Prime Minister Ishiba's speech included the plan to further solidify cooperation between Korea and Japan based on the trust built between former Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and President Yoon Suk Yeol.

Compared to past speeches by Prime Minister Kishida and Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga, it seems to reflect a significant improvement in bilateral relations.

Prime Minister Ishiba will also emphasize in his speech that the U.S.-Japan alliance is the axis of Japan's diplomacy and security, and that he will build a constructive and stable relationship in which he insists on insisting with China but cooperates on common tasks.

In addition, the economic policy plans to reveal its will to "growth-type economy driven by wage increases and investment," "response to high prices," and "strengthening semiconductor supply chains."
