Yemen's pro-Iranian rebel Houthis have fired rockets at Israel, Reuters reports.

The Houthis claimed in a statement on the 2nd local time that they had "launched Quds 5" rockets at military positions in Israel.

The ground attack cruise missile kuds used by the Houthis are classified as the same line of Iranian-made missiles.

"If the United States and Britain continue to support Israel, their national interests will burn," Houthi said, warning that he would not hesitate to expand military operations against Israel.

The Houthis' move comes shortly after Iran launched airstrikes with more than 200 ballistic missiles on Israel, and attention is being paid to whether it will lead to the addition of anti-Western and anti-Israel "axis of resistance" groups, which are Iranian proxies in the Middle East.
