President Yoon Suk Yeol exercised his right to demand reconsideration on three bills, including the Kim Gun-hee Special Prosecutor Act, which was handled exclusively by the opposition party.

The presidential office said it was hearing various opinions regarding Kim's apology, but it is known that the growing demand for an apology is growing.

President Yoon Suk Yeol has approved a request for reconsideration of the Kim Gun-hee, the Special Prosecutor Act on Chae Sang-byung, and the Local Currency Act, which were enforced by the opposition party.

As a result, 24 bills have been requested by the National Assembly to reconsider since President Yoon took office.

The presidential office pointed out the problem one by one, saying that it is the president's duty under the constitution to exercise the right to request reconsideration of unconstitutional and illegal legislation.

[Jeong Hye-jeon / Spokesperson for the Presidential Office: This bill effectively deprives the president of his right to appoint a special prosecutor, violating the constitutional principle of separation of powers, as well as undermining political neutrality and fairness]

Rather, the president's office has established that inducing the right to demand reconsideration or the recent opposition party's move to prepare for impeachment of President Yoon is an ulterior motive for Lee Jae-myung's bulletproofness.

In contrast to the onslaught against the opposition party, she declined to comment on Kim Gun-hee's demand for an apology from the ruling party.

The president's office said there have been reports that key officials are reviewing Kim's apology recently, but the current position is that they are hearing various opinions.

The president's office is reported to be concerned about the risks and side effects of an apology ahead of the parliamentary audit and the disposal of Deutsche Motors' stock price manipulation allegations in the absence of violations.

However, as there are polls showing that an apology is needed for Mrs. Kim, there is a growing concern over the timing, method, and level of the situation.

An official from the president's office said, "As shown in the message to representative Han Dong-hoon, Mrs. Kim is willing to apologize," and in the end, President Yoon and Mrs. Kim said the decision was the most important thing.
