The U.S. presidential election is just a month away, but Harris and Trump are continuing a close race in which polls make it difficult to predict victory or defeat.

For the weekend, both candidates visited competing states, especially Trump, who visited the scene of his first assassination crisis and held a large campaign.

Reporter Kim Ji-young reports.

Former President Trump Breaks Two Assassination Attempts,

Another big campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where the first assassination attempt took place.

Security authorities and supporters were also very careful about safety.

Trump paid tribute to a citizen killed in a July shooting, saying he was back to keep his promise.

As Pennsylvania is the biggest battleground, Tesla CEO Elon Musk as well as Vance's vice presidential candidate have applied for it, drawing attention.

Vice President Harris headed to North Carolina, where Hurricane Hurlin scratched her.

It is also where candidate Trump visited the previous day and criticized the government for its response to the disaster.

Harris emphasized that she is traveling around the disaster site to understand the damage and support measures.

As the two candidates travel around to win votes, the latest polls also show that the game is in the fog.

A recent survey by NPR and PBS, a U.S. public broadcaster, found that Harris was ahead of the margin of error in active voting.

On the other hand, in the non-partisan group of respondents, former President Trump showed an advantage within the margin of error.

In particular, the divide was evident according to the gender and race of the voters.

Men support former President Trump, women support Vice President Harris more, white people support Trump, and non-white voters support Harris more.
