Police investigating the "driver who disappeared after a traffic accident" incident, which was reported by YTN yesterday, have caught the driver who caused the actual accident.

Dongnae Police Station in Busan arrested A in his 20s on charges of driving without a license.

Mr. A is accused of driving a car in the alley of a market in Sajik-dong, Busan at around 4:10 p.m. yesterday and running away from the scene after hitting a telephone pole.Shortly after the

accident, A's acquaintance B approached the police officer under investigation and claimed that he was the driver who caused the accident, but the police decided that it was not true and received a confession that it was a false statement after questioning and caught the actual driver with CCTV.

A police official explained that the actual driver, A, seemed to have fled to hide the unlicensed driving and confirmed that there was no drinking or drug administration.

There were no casualties in yesterday's accident, but citizens passing by were inconvenienced by traffic due to a narrow road accident.
