The Seoul High Prosecutor's Office will reinvestigate the case in which actor Lee Young-ae sued Jung Chun-soo, the head of the YouTube channel "Open Sympathy TV," saying that he spread false information about him.

The Seoul High Prosecutor's Office has been investigating the case in October last year in which Lee sued Chung for defamation.

In September last year, Lee donated 50 million won to build the "President Lee Seung-man Memorial," and Open Sympathy TV reported that Lee's donation was related to the Yoon Suk Yeol President and his wife.

In response, Lee sued Jeong at Yongsan Police Station in Seoul, and the case was transferred to Yangju Police Station in Gyeonggi Province, and the decision to reject the case was made.

Since then, the case has been sent to the prosecution following Lee's objection, but when the Uijeongbu District Prosecutors' Office, which took over the case, made a decision not to indict in June, a comeback investigation began after appealing again.
