Lee Bok-hyun, head of the Financial Supervisory Service, recently ordered strict supervision of Korea Zinc's tender offer, which has been overheated, and an immediate investigation into unfair trade.

At a meeting of executives today, Lee stressed that anyone who is found to be involved in unfair trade practices aimed at interfering with the other side's tender offer should take stern measures in accordance with laws and principles.

Director Lee urged the public to thoroughly examine not only the tender purchase process but also the issues that arise later for violations of related laws such as the Capital Markets Act.

On the news that Director Lee ordered the launch of the investigation, the stock prices of related stocks such as Youngpoong Precision, Youngpoong, and Korea Zinc fell one after another.

Youngpoong fell 2.75 percent, Youngpoong Precision fell 2.59 percent and Korea Zinc fell 0.51 percent, respectively, marking the first drop in Youngpoong Precision shares in eight trading days.
