More than 20 days before the U.S. presidential election, voters in competing states have ruled in favor of former President Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate in foreign affairs and security.

According to a Wall Street Journal survey of 2,100 voters in seven competing states, including Pennsylvania and Nevada, on the 12th local time, 48% of respondents said former President Trump was the right person for the Middle East war response.

Only 33% of the respondents said they were Democratic nominee Vice President Kamala Harris.

50% of the respondents said that former President Trump would also handle the war in Ukraine better, far exceeding Vice President Harris, who recorded 39%.

The Wall Street Journal noted, "While diplomatic and security issues are not a priority in the presidential election, the question of who is the right person for the issue is also emerging as a major variable in the race, as the winner of this presidential election eventually has to lead two wars."
