The first stage projectile of Elon Musk's space company, "Starship," a large spacecraft developed by SpaceX, has returned to the launch site and successfully landed vertically for the first time in the world.

Starship was launched from Starbase on Boca Chica Beach in southern Texas at 7:25 a.m. local time on the 13th, and a robotic arm on the top of the launch pad grabbed the first-stage propellant that returned in six minutes and 55 seconds.

SpaceX's other rocket, Falcon 9, also reuses the first stage propellant, but it comes down to a separate landing site a few kilometers away, not a launch pad.

If the first stage propellant returns directly to the launch pad, it is expected to significantly reduce reuse time and cost.

The Starship's first stage propellant is 71 meters long and has a propulsion force of 74 megapultons, twice as much as the Saturn 5 rocket used in lunar exploration.
