Lee Jae-myung and his wife in the National Audit Office, 'use of corporate cards in Gyeonggi Province'

In a parliamentary audit of the Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency conducted by the National Assembly's administrative committee yesterday (14th), the ruling and opposition parties clashed over an investigation into the alleged misappropriation of corporate cards by Lee Jae-myung and his wife of the Democratic Party of Korea.

Representative Yang Boo-nam of the Democratic Party argued that representative Lee was not responsible and that the decision to acquit him was reasonable, as Kim Hye-kyung's secretary Bae stated that he had committed an individual deviation.

On the other hand, Cho Eun-hee, a member of the People's Power, refuted that even though there were many suspicious points in the process of Bae's wealth formation, the police did not track his account properly, and that the case involving CEO Lee was often repeated.
