Subway line one, a sudden stop...Everyone's getting off at Singil Station.

At around 8:30 a.m. today (16th), the train suddenly stopped due to a malfunction near Singil Station on Subway Line 1 in the Seoul metropolitan area.

Korail explained that about 1,000 people were on the train, and one of the passengers told YTN that several people fell when the train stopped suddenly.

KORAIL has informed all passengers to transfer after getting off at Singil Station and is investigating the cause of the malfunction.
