The National Assembly Legislation and Judiciary Committee's parliamentary audit held at the Daejeon High Prosecutor's Office today (17th) was followed by a battle between the ruling and opposition parties over the investigation of former President Moon Jae In's son-in-law Seo's alleged hiring of preferential treatment for Thai Starjet.

Lee Sung-yoon, a lawmaker of the Democratic Party of Korea, told Park Young-jin, chief of the Jeonju District Prosecutors' Office, "The prosecutor sent a text message to Seo's old mother 19 times, but this is stalking," adding, "Will the prosecutor be investigated for four or five years? Find out how the person is feeling."

Park Ji-won of the same party also said to Prosecutor Park, "He is so good at investigating that he goes to the Central District Prosecutors' Office because he likes the position of chief of the Jeonju District Prosecutors' Office, and I don't know if he will, but he can't do this."

In response, Prosecutor Park replied, "I don't look at my seat and work."

On the other hand, Song Seok-joon, a lawmaker of the People's Power, said, "We will thoroughly investigate various direct and indirect facts related to the establishment of bribery."
