National Assembly's Judiciary Committee, Central District Prosecutors' Office's National Audit... Prospects for Conflict between 'Kim's Non-prosecution'

The National Assembly Legislation and Judiciary Committee conducts a national audit of major prosecutors' offices in the Seoul metropolitan area, including the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office.

The National Assembly is expected to have a fierce battle between the ruling and opposition parties over allegations of Kim Gun-hee's involvement in stock price manipulation, which was not prosecuted by the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office yesterday (17th).

The opposition party is also expected to clash with Prosecutor General Shim Woo-jung over the impeachment of Central District Prosecutors' Office chief Lee Jung-soo, who has decided to pursue in opposition to the non-prosecution of Kim.

The National Assembly Education Committee's parliamentary inspection of Busan National University and Pusan National University Hospital will also be held, and questions are expected over the issue of increasing medical schools and the controversy over helicopter transfers at the time of the attack on Democratic Party Chairman Lee Jae-myung.
