Former member of pop band One Direction, Liam Payne, was staying in a hotel room before the crash, Argentine police said.

According to local media reports in Argentina, including La Nacion, Buenos Aires police said the previous day that room 10 on the third floor of the Casasur Hotel in Palermo was "generally disorderly."

This room is where Payne, who was found dead in a hotel patio the previous day, has stayed since the 13th. Police believe Payne fell from a third-floor room.

In particular, containers containing stabilizers Clonazepam, lighters, whiskey, and medicine were collected inside Room 10, Lanacion said.

Clonazepam is a drug used to treat seizures or panic disorders and is treated as a psychotropic drug because of its dependence and the risk of misuse.

Earlier, some photos of Payne's room were circulated on major social media after the news of her fall.

The photo included a broken TV, unidentified powder, aluminum foil messy in the bathtub, and some of the burned soda cans, sparking allegations of Payne's drug use.The

Lanacion quoted unnamed officers as saying, "Investigators are looking into whether (Fayne) has suffered symptoms of addiction or disorientation."

His fans and colleagues laid flowers in front of the Casasur Hotel or left a note with a message of remembrance, expressing their sorrow over the death of the deceased. Guitarist Ronnie Wood of the British rock band Rolling Stones, who performed with One Direction in the past, expressed his condolences, saying, "I am in shock and sadness," while American boy group Backstreet Voice paid tribute, "My condolences to the world's One Direction fans."
