Due to the influx of strong rain clouds, heavy rain warnings are expanding around the west coast of Chungnam and the west coast of Gyeonggi Province.

The Korea Meteorological Administration issued heavy rain warnings at 1 p.m. in Taean, Dangjin, Seosan, and Ongjin, Incheon, and expanded heavy rain warnings to Ansan, Hwaseong, and Incheon in Gyeonggi Province from 2:50 p.m.

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) said that strong rain clouds from the West Sea are causing more than 30mm of heavy rain per hour, especially in heavy rain warning areas, and caution is needed as there is a possibility that very strong rain will be concentrated in some areas such as southern Gyeonggi Province in the future.

At the same time, a storm surge warning was issued from 2:50 p.m. in the western coastal areas of Honam, including Gochang, Buan, Gunsan, and Gimje, where the level of seawater increased due to overlapping control periods.
