President Yoon's Emergency Inspection Meeting on Security Issues... "Discussion on Dispatching Forces to North Korea and Russia"

President Yoon Suk Yeol held an emergency security meeting with officials from the National Security Office, the Ministry of National Defense, and the National Intelligence Service on the dispatch of North Korean troops to Russia.

The president's office said it comprehensively examined the impact of the North Korean military's dispatch to Russia and participation in the Ukraine war on our security and discussed future countermeasures.

Participants agreed that the current situation, which has led to the actual dispatch of troops beyond the movement of military supplies, is a significant security threat not only to Korea but also to the international community, the presidential office said.

He also explained that he decided not to neglect this situation and to respond by using all available means with the international community.
