Arrested in their 70s who threatened welfare center staff with a weapon when they couldn't get free school meals

A man who threatened a welfare center employee with a weapon was caught by the police when he did not receive free meals.

Seodaemun Police Station in Seoul arrested a man in his 70s on charges of special intimidation.

Mr. A is accused of visiting a welfare center in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul at around 2:20 p.m. yesterday (17th) and threatening a female employee he had known.

According to a police investigation, it was confirmed that A, who was drunk, was angry after receiving a call that he could not receive free meals after lunchtime and visited the welfare center with a weapon at home.

Mr. A is said to be reflecting on himself, but the police are investigating the exact circumstances.
