Six people were killed and 25 injured when a bus overturned in Axarai, central Turkiye.

The bus, which departed from Balikeshir, western Turkiye, on the 18th local time, overturned on the highway while driving toward Cappadocia, a famous tourist destination.

The cause of the accident is unclear, local officials said.

The injured were taken to the hospital for treatment.
