The ruling party, the Democratic Party of Korea, "Lee Jae-myung, Bangtan-yong" to "push for impeachment of prosecutor general."

The People's Power criticized the Democratic Party of Korea for pushing for the impeachment of the prosecutor general in opposition to the prosecution's non-prosecution of Kim Gun-hee's stock price manipulation allegations.

Kwak Kyu-taek, a senior spokesman, said in a commentary that the Democratic Party's habitual impeachment disease has returned.

He then pointed out that the prosecutors who investigated representative Lee and the Democratic Party are not enough to propose impeachment and hold a prosecutor's impeachment hearing, or that they are warning of abuse of legislative power that undermines the prosecution's independence and investigative power.

He also argued that the Democratic Party of Korea's re-promotion of the first lady Kim's independent counsel law was not to delegate legislative power to take care of people's livelihoods and work for the country, to engage in political strife and use impeachment as a political tool.
