The worsening food conditions in Gaza, Palestine, were expected to triple the number of people suffering famine within months.

Since last month, the World Health Organization and the WHO have announced that Israeli troops have ordered evacuation from Gaza and airstrikes have been carried out everywhere, preventing the supply of relief supplies from being properly implemented.

Between last month and this month, the WHO called the average food crisis among Gaza residents "level 4 or higher."

The United Nations categorizes the food crisis into five levels: normal and warning, crisis, emergency, and famine according to its severity.

At the time of the analysis in January this year, the average level of food crisis among Gaza residents was in the third stage of "crisis," but the situation has worsened since last month.

The worst food crisis, stage five 'famine', is a stage where you can die in the absence of urgent food supplies and treatment.

The WHO estimated the number of "famine" people in Gaza at 345,000, predicting that if aid supplies do not improve, "the number of people in famine will triple in the next few months."

"There is a possibility that winter temperatures will fall and heavy rains will fall," he said, adding, "We are concerned that the number of acute malnourished patients will increase significantly, especially in densely populated areas at high risk of spreading the infectious disease."
