Heuksando and Hongdo strong wind warning in Jeollanam-do.Wind and Wave Warning in the West Sea

Strong winds and wind warnings have been issued on the southern and western coasts.

The Korea Meteorological Administration issued a strong wind warning for Heuksan-do and Hongdo in Jeollanam-do from 10 a.m. today (19th).

Strong wind warnings are issued when wind speeds are expected to exceed 21 meters per second or 26 meters per second, and be careful because houses or objects may be broken.

Wind warnings have been issued when winds with wind speeds of 21m/s or more continue for more than three hours or waves of 5m or more are expected in the far south of the West Sea, the far south of the West Sea, and the far south of the West Sea.

From 11 a.m., strong wind warnings will be issued in the mountainous areas of Jeju and eastern, northern, and western areas of Jeju.

A strong wind warning was also in effect for the western and eastern part of Ulsan from 10 a.m.

It is expected that the wind will be strong enough to shake the street trees severely and make it difficult for people to use umbrellas properly.
