A man in his 20s tried to run away with a police officer hanging from a motorcycle.

A 20-year-old man who was driving a motorcycle without a license plate and tried to run away with a police officer who tried to restrain him has been investigated by the prosecution.

Uijeongbu Police Station in Gyeonggi Province sent a man, A, who has been investigating on charges of obstructing the execution of special public affairs, to the prosecution.

Mr. A is accused of injuring a police officer who demanded a stop while driving a motorcycle without a license plate in Yonghyeon-dong, Uijeongbu, on May 7th.

Mr. A moved about 5 meters with a police officer tied during the escape, but the police officer was known to have only been scratched as he failed to drive properly.
