Ruling party "condemns sending troops to North Korea...Immediate retribution for reckless actions."

The People's Power strongly condemns North Korea's decision to send large-scale special forces to the Ukraine war to help Russia, saying it is a clear threat to the international community, including South Korea.

Representative Han Dong-hoon wrote on social media that North Korea and Russia have been confirmed to be a solid "military alliance" and that Russia may provide key source technologies such as ICBM re-entry technology as a benefit in return for North Korea's participation in the war.

He added that he supports the response as the South Korean government, which has been closely tracking North Korea's dispatch of troops to Russia from the beginning, said it would actively take necessary measures in cooperation with allies.

Spokesman Kim Yeon-joo also asked the government and military to be thoroughly prepared to immediately punish reckless actions with an airtight defense posture, facing the security reality that is more severe than ever.
