Indonesia's government has suspended the mandatory halal certification of imported foods for up to two years, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs said.


The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs said that the mandatory halal certification system for food and beverages has been implemented in Indonesia since yesterday (18th), but the mandatory requirement for products from small and medium-sized enterprises and imported products will be suspended for up to two years.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs said the Indonesian government's decision will give our export companies time to spare and positively affect exports.
